Synopsis/Details
When a talented PR assistant, AMY (30), discovers that a London PR firm is going to once again pass her up on a well-earned promotion as PR Executive in favor of the hot new thing in the office, EMMA (22), she is left angry and disenchanted with her life. Under the influence of alcohol, she dreams up a relationship with U.S. action movie star, BRAD BUTLER (47), but mistakenly posts it on Instagram for all to see.
When the post goes viral, Emma ridicules her in front of everyone. Still reeling from the missed promotion and subsequent humiliation, Amy teams up with hapless paparazzo, ENZO (30s), and his sidekick Yorkshire terrier, GINA, and sets out to prove the fake relationship is real. However, Brad's agent and boyfriend, KYLE (26), uncovers their plan and threatens to expose Amy.
Meanwhile, Enzo discovers that Brad is closeted, and he uses that fact to bribe Brad to get VIP access and save Amy. Kyle decides to make the most of a horrible situation and uses the fake relationship to spark a renewed interest in Brad while they promote the latest installment of his flagging movie franchise, to Brad’s dismay.
Under Kyle's supervision, Amy and Brad embark on an awkward five-star romantic holiday to Paris. While Brad hates the situation at first, the two of them soon realize that they are both trapped in situations that no longer suit them. As the friendship grows, Brad gets more prominent acting roles and Amy wins the PR Executive position over Emma.
Fuming over the lost promotion, Emma does some digging with the help of Enzo’s rivals (TWO PAPARAZZI, Enzo’s own nemeses), and exposes them.
As the truth is revealed, Amy loses her job and Brad’s friendship. Dejected, she decides to tell her truth in a vlog with the hashtag, #IAmEnough, which becomes viral. Subsequently, she sets up her own PR agency. While her career flourishes, Amy searches for Brad, who has become a recluse. As Amy helps him fulfil his life-long dream of becoming a successful Film Director, they become forever friends.
