Dinner Party

John and Marion are a young married couple who are trying to get ahead in life by upgrading the type of people they associate with. Their first step towards upward mobility is a carefully planned dinner party with two particularly important people, John's boss and Marion's tennis partner. However, John's shot at an undeserved promotion and their son's acceptance to a prestigious pre-school are jeopardized when their old degenerate college friend, Phil, shows up to the party with a stunning new girlfriend, Ashlynn. Marion's perfect dinner party descends into chaos as Phil reveals more about the nature of his relationship with Ashlynn and his eccentric lifestyle to the rest of the guests. This is a lighthearted short comedy which will make the viewer wish they had a friend like Phil.
