Synopsis/Details
Dranger and Oaf are Judiciary Arm Enforcers tasked with tracking the planet Simul's worst. But when they’re sent after a geneticist accused of illegal experimentation, they find a child instead. A child with deeper secrets, and a system that prefers her dead. Their refusal to comply kicks off a violent spiral: corrupt fellow Hunters, secret orders from a shadowy High Marshal, and a massacre they didn’t see coming. Behind the guns and wisecracks lies a deeper mystery. Where did Dranger come from? Why does his past resemble a fantasy myth? And how far does the rot go inside the Collective’s power? With Tilly resurrected, Pebble downed, and Spearpoint crawling with Hunters who’ve already died once, the duo must untangle old conspiracies, dodge new assassins, and protect the one man who might unlock everything: Dranger’s father.
