Synopsis/Details
Survivors who come forward should be believed – that's Edith's reaction to the latest sexual abuse scandal. Yet Edith didn't believe her own daughter when she came forward, which her second child Sam (20s, nonbinary, loudly queer) points out from the other end of the phone conversation.
The moment reignites a mother's internal battle with quilt, shame, and fear of change that might undo all progress that has been made.
