Synopsis/Details
When 16-year-old track star Brandon Mohammed earns a full scholarship to Excelsior Prep, his life shifts overnight—from Spanish Harlem to the Upper East Side. But the glittering world of private jets and penthouses comes with its own set of rules—and its own dangers.
Brandon is recruited into the school’s most powerful clique, The 69 Club. As he becomes entangled in drug deals, love triangles, class warfare, and secret betrayals, he must balance his East Harlem family, incarcerated father, and a rising criminal brother—all while hiding the truth from his teachers, peers, and his new love interest, Angeline, a fellow activist and head of the Black Student Union.
WHAT THIS IS
A one-hour teen drama that tackles identity, race, class, code-switching, and youth culture with rawness and style. It’s about fitting in, standing out, growing up, and falling hard—into love, trouble, and danger.
This show is for the TikTok / Gen Z era — stylized, fast-moving, unfiltered. We want to inspire obsession, fandoms, Twitter debates, and "Team Tyrel" vs "Team Brandon" energy.
If Gossip Girl and All American had a baby, raised by Euphoria, with godparents like Skins and Friday Night Lights—this would be it.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
This is not another safe, soapy melodrama about spoiled rich kids who party and get grounded by daddy.
This is not The O.C., 90210, or anything PG.
This is a raw, intimate glimpse into the real emotional, social, and moral stakes of today’s youth. Adult actors will portray teens navigating sex, drugs, and even murder.
