The Writer: Andrew Burd

Andrew fell in love with movies and film after seeing Star Wars at age 5. The hooks were sunk in after seeing the making of Star Wars some months later on a TV special. "After watching that, I knew it was all I wanted to do with my life" He started doing photography at the age of 7 using his father's Pentax Honeywell 35mm. He bought his first camera at age 12 when all his friends were buying Atari 2600 cartridges. As well as being an artist, Andrew is also a highly skilled technician and fabricator. With 12 seasons at the Midland Center for the Arts under his belt, he has experienced all of the fast-paced aspects of live theater.
