Four Letter Word is about good-hearted Evie Rutherford, an independent, semi-famous porn actress who struggles between wanting to find love and not needing a man to make her happy. She wades through L.A.'s shallow dating pool to please her domineering mother, all while keeping her career a secret from people she loves.
Set in sunny Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world, Evie is a feminist, adult film actor who never makes apologies for who she is and what she does. You know, porn. Ography. Financially comfortable and from a well known family, Evie lives with a Maine Coon named Burt Reynolds in a cute, Beachwood Canyon apartment. She spends time boozing with her sibs, Ollie and Sadie, and dodging phone calls of judgement from Lola.
