
Synopsis/Details
Ernie is a small woodlouse who's sick of his life, everyday is dark and cold, and he wants to feel the sun on his shell.
Nessie is an inquisitive 9 year old who wants a better back garden, she's tired of the broken slabs, cracked pots, and the total lack of life.
So they set out to do something about it.
Habitat follows their separate journeys as Ernie explores the different jobs carried out by the gardens insects, and Nessie as she learns how to build a garden that can support all kinds of life.
The aim of the show is to help younger children (6-8) understand the importance that even the smallest creature has in keeping nature healthy and what they can do to help encourage life in their own back yards.
