Synopsis/Details
We didn't save it, the Earth. We left it too late. Too consumed by consumerism to care. Until one day, Earth could take no more. Catastrophic event followed catastrophic event, leaving humanity scattered, dying like the planet we so cruelly abused. In an effort to save ourselves, we began the construction of huge redoubts. Each one designed to house up to one million souls. In the centuries that followed, some redoubts failed, others flourished, and in some the corruption witnessed before the collapse of humanity only got worse. Our redoubt designed technology to keep it's people safe. At birth they fit each child with an implant that will forever share the memories of all they see and do with those around them. Ensuring all is known about every person living within the confines of these walls. Set in the year 2320 Pacific Million peers into the corruption of a supposedly fair and just society formed after the Earth became uninhabitable. After accidentally viewing a damming video, Joan, a fresh faced state reporter, finds herself living outside the safety of the redoubt without a memory chip. She and her fellow prisoners' plan a break out that would not only free them, but also expose the government and show the people they have been lied to for decades. The Earth is no longer a dangerous place.
