Hell's Moon

Susan has been having nightmares. They're always the same: she's staring at the moon, and the moon gets bigger and bigger and bigger that it seems to fall on Susan and crush her. Pastor Philips has also been having nightmares: he's transported to Hell and sees souls tortured for the sins they committed during their lives. However, in the dreams, he himself gets slashed by a figure holding a scalpel. Naturally, he does not tell anyone about his nightmares. A pastor tortured in Hell? Seriously? Nina has also been having nightmares: she's falling down into a bottomless pit. During the fall, she can see pictures lining the wall of the pit: they're pictures of an upward-facing sperm whale head. Are these only nightmares? Or do they mean something else? Do they have anything to do with the bizarre incidents plaguing the country where people would spontaneously hurt people they don't know for no real reason?
