Synopsis/Details
Jason, right after his 17th birthday, runs away from home and goes to the city, where he meets up with Matt and Elliot and joins them to play in a band.
To make this band different from the others, Jason comes up with the idea to change the pronouns of the lyrics of the songs they cover (1970s songs – copyright permission will be required): YOU becomes I , YOUR becomes MY, and vice versa and so on. Wherever possible.
Along the way, they will gain new members, lose members, reject member-wannabes, face rivalry from other groups, get involved in a love triangle, find conflicts among themselves, join a band competition, lose in the competition, win a lot of fans, learn new things, and eventually make peace with themselves and the families they ran away from.
The story is also littered with bits and pieces of practical information and facts about anything: cars, legends, geography, culture, science, etc., so that the audience will learn something with every episode they watch.
