Synopsis/Details
While her husband, Nick, is working the night shift, Trudy is home alone. A huge storm is ongoing, and Trudy has some good pot to smoke. When the power goes out, her paranoia, now intensified by the effects of the drug, gets the best of her. She calls her friend, Lisa, to come over for a party for two. While waiting, Trudy hears knocking and glass crashing, and becomes convinced someone is trying to break into her house. She calls 9-1-1 and reports her suspicions until her cell phone’s battery runs flat. When she sees someone come through the back door, she uses the fire poker to whack him over the head. Her friend, Lisa, arrives and shows Trudy that Nick’s car is actually in the driveway. Realization hits Trudy and they find that it’s poor Nick who has been accosted by his wife. The police arrive shortly after and become suspicious that Nick may be a victim of spousal abuse.
