Genre: Horror/Thriller/Slasher Format: Feature Nutshell: This horror, slasher, thriller is like The Hitcher meets Deathproof. Overview: We’ve always been taught to never hitchhike or pick up hitchhikers because one of them could be a serial killer...and this time, both are. Characters: Bishop - The protagonist/antagonist, a vicious serial killer that preys on unsuspecting hitchhikers. By day he’s a crime/death scene cleaner and knows how to “clean a scene”. As the sun sets he sets out to “hunt” for his next victim. He lulls them into believing he will take them to their destination, but once in the passenger seat, and the seat belt fastened, he unleashes unspeakable hell. Abi - The protagonist/antagonist, as vicious a serial killer as Bishop. Disarming because of her physique and looks. By day a musician and music teacher, but as the sun sets she raises her thumb and the person that picks her up will meet an end their wildest nightmares couldn’t imagine. DCI Marshall - A veteran detective in Scotland Yard’s Serious Crime Unit. Even though he drinks too much, he is very good at his job. He’s convinced a serial killer is picking up hitchhikers and killing them. DC Hayward - Marshall’s subordinate. She is determined and believes in her boss’s serial killer theory when nobody else will. She works hard to keep him on the straight and narrow as well as to progress her own career. Victims - Numerous victims tortured and brutalized in the most horrific and creative manner possible by both Bishop and Abi. Summary: Bishop & Abi both have a desire to wreak havoc in the most brutal manner possible. Bishop preys on hitchhikers, lulling them into a false sense of security with his warm smile, charming personality and a comfortable ride, only to later unleash the most sadistic evil upon them. Abi uses her innocent, almost pixie like features to disarm her victims. Carrying her violin case and with a sweet, innocent smile on her face, the brutality she unleashes is almost unbelievable. This dark, brutal slasher horror movie is everything we’ve ever been warned about - never hitchhike and never pick up hitchhikers because they could be psychos but when both are and when they both find out that the other exists - the hunter becomes the hunted. HITCH is a cult classic film in the making.
