Synopsis/Details
A stand-up comedian killed tonight... I KILLED TONIGHT is a 30 minute TV series about a "serial killing" stand-up comedian. Every comedian has daydreamed about what they’d like to do to that unsmiling, rude, miserable audience member that they constantly focus on, even though the room is filled with 100’s, sometimes 1000’s of smiling, laughing faces. They will always come back to that one face over and over again, without fail. These daydreams wouldn’t be filled with jokes and laughs, they’ll be dark and possibly even edged with violence, remaining hidden, safe in the dark recesses of their minds. But when an audience member goes too far, a comedian decides to unleash those dark and violent thoughts and does the unthinkable, he makes that audience member pay...with their life. The pilot episode introduces the viewer to MARCUS BISHOP the long time professional stand-up comedian with a very, very dark side. This story brings the viewer into the real life world of the touring stand-up comedian as well as the actual comedy scene and further into the dark and dangerous world and mind of Marcus Bishop. This is DEXTER meets SEINFELD meets I'M DYING UP HERE.

Prior to finding my calling in the world of entertainment I obtained my law degree from UNISA (University of South Africa) while I worked for the Department of Justice. Once I qualified I became a Public Prosecutor (to work off my study debts) and put some of the most vile, evil human beings behind bars. When I write about man's inhumanity to man, I know what I'm talking about because I've seen it first hand. From there I went into the legal financial world, but that's lame and boring so I'll end this backstory right here. I've also… Go to bio
