RYAN MATHIS a seventeen year old lost soul has a dark secret. Twin sister and father died when he was eleven. His soon to be stepfather signed on to girls baseball coach without knowing anything about baseball. His job was threatened, Ryan helped coach the first year girls team. They had to win the championship of he would be fired. During the short season, the girls were taught, yelled at and improved. Meanwhile Ryan’s dark secret came out as strange weather patterns cropped up all around the globe. Six years before Ryan was one of twelve to be on a thought to be alien ship. He was the only child to survive. Now torn between a group of scientists and a group led by his thought to have been dead father and twin sister. Ryan must choose which side to take to destroy the ship which kills anyone who opens the hatch. Amongst the snow in Florida and in Arizona, Ryan comes face to face with a dark part of his past. The ship, the hatch opens and calls his name with deafening sounds that seem to come from inside everyone’s head. The ship says it will destroy humanity to replace them with artificial intelligence. When Ryan steps aboard, the hatch closes…even louder sounds and intense lights knock Ryan to his knees. His nose begins to bleed as it seems to be even too much for his disciplined mind.
