Man or Machine (sequel to In a Pickle)

RYAN MATHIS learns further details of a AI hub, he’s turned from a high school kid to a mercenary. Not knowing who to trust he must always be on guard. Everywhere he goes people deceive this young man. Blamed for the death of his mother and stepfather Ryan must disappear from public sight, while he’s still hunted for the people who original hired him. Ryan travels from resistance faction to others staying off the radar. Then given a dossier on where to go to have a chance to fix the problem. All the while android officers, security are changing things for people on Earth. A strange ship is found in the ocean been there for twenty-two thousand years yet has materials Earth has never heard of. When a man emerges from the ship he asks for Ryan’s help to revive his crew, he promises help in exchange. After speaking with the stranger he gives Ryan a way to this hub but cryptic messages not to be distracted “this time”. Ryan’s surrounded by androids and the people who originally hired him as he tries to destroy it. A explosion occurs and as the stranger told Ryan everything changed. A world without AI, but a new darker secret beginning to emerge.
