Logline:
When Homeland Security investigates a mailed anthrax attack, an agent meets a doctor struggling with bizarre emotional disturbances affecting her community, and together they uncover a contamination emergency beyond anything they are prepared for.
Synopsis/Details:

Tagline: Watch what you eat. Watch what you drink. And don't smell the flowers.

Reminiscent of the tone and paranoia of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", this fairly low-FX story imagines the consequences if one of the most harmless and plentiful entities in nature were to become our greatest and virtually indefensible menace.

The lead is physician Dr. Rachel Morrison, a resident who in the midst of this inexplicable, developing crisis greets FBI Agent Sam Lalonde, who arrives in town to investigate.

As the players scramble to identify a cure for the consequences of Mankind's recklessness toward the environment, they come to realize the contamination has no limits, and that the world may be about to change forever.

The Writer: Steve Garry

I wrote my first screenplay in 2008, at the age of 52. It was a surprise, yet predicable too, for composition was my favorite subject in my earliest years of elementary school. But somewhere between the ages of 10 and 52, I must have felt that writing wasn't a serious or possibly an attainable career. My writing methodology is unique because I use many of the same skills I used for decades as a software programmer. The stories must be both "logical" and "bug free". Oh, and hopefully, thought-provoking, entertaining, suspenseful, or humorous, often in the same script, with captivating characters and story lines, especially given the complex themes I often take on in my work.
