Synopsis/Details
For several years, a bioterrorist network of scientists from seven countries traffics pathogenic antibodies of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS). Royal Canadian Mounted Police detects part of the network by early 2019 and expels from the country some scientists who work in a lab there on suspicion of transfer of pathogens. The FBI also embarks on a crusade to find one of the traffickers' whereabouts, when suddenly the inevitable occurs. An outbreak of an unknown disease in Wuhan, China, threatens to spread throughout the world. Reporter Jairon Vega seeks answers to this new outbreak, which reaches the United States in hours. Jairon finds the answers in Wang Teng, a dissident scientist. Wang not only helps Jairon save his son, infected by the new pandemic in New York. Wang also goes along with the reporter on a short journey. In that trip, they destroy the bioterrorist scientists' network and save the world from the deadliest threat faced by mankind in the last hundred years.
