Synopsis/Details
After a childhood accident exposed him to an experimental chemical, sixteen-year-old James Knight has lived a double life. By day, he’s just another high school kid trying to stay under the radar. But when trouble strikes, he becomes Alpha — a secret superhero with powers that defy the laws of nature: super strength, speed, agility, flight… and telekinesis that can tear steel apart.
Only two people know the truth — his older brother Derek and their strict, battle-hardened Uncle Samual. Not his classmates. Not his father. And definitely not the girl he can’t stop thinking about.
Keeping secrets gets harder every day. James wants to do good, to save people, to matter. But being Alpha means making impossible choices. Every punch thrown, every life saved, pulls him deeper into a dangerous world of superpowered threats, shady organizations, and buried truths about where his powers really come from — and why he was never supposed to survive.
As James stumbles into the wider world of enhanced beings, allies become enemies, and enemies start to look a little too familiar. He begins to question who he is, what he’s fighting for… and whether he’s still in control of the thing inside him.
But when everything he’s been hiding — his powers, his identity, and the family he swore to protect — is suddenly ripped away, James faces a devastating choice.
Without his powers, can he still be a hero?
And if he can’t save himself… who will?
