Synopsis/Details
With a fondness for chugging high fat milk and correcting people’s grammar, Killer would be an oddball even if he wasn't a serial murderer. Having spent the morning at Lorelai Lake selecting a secluded site to bury his next victim, Killer pops into the local supermarket for two bottles of milk and comes out planning to kill Diana, the young blonde cashier who wants nothing more than to finish her shift and get home in time to watch the ballgame on TV.
That night, having apparently killed Diana, Killer returns to the lake to dispose of her body. But a young woman named Lori arrives with a body of her own in the trunk of her Oldsmobile, a body that to their mutual surprise is not quite dead yet. After helping her finish him off, Killer arrogantly takes over, dictating Lori’s every move as they clean up the crime scene. Just when Killer thinks their work is done, Lori reveals that her victim is her cocaine-smoking and abusive father-in-law Eddie, and that her enabling mother Scarlett is still clinging to life in the trunk of her Oldsmobile.
Returning to the car, Lori and Killer discover that Scarlett has escaped from the trunk and is about to drive away. A duel ensues between Lori and Scarlett, with Lori wielding Killer’s revolver and Scarlett trying to run Lori over with the Oldsmobile. Lori kills Scarlett, and with daylight approaching Lori and Killer hurry to dispose of Scarlett’s body. But a surprise appearance by Devon, a cyclist in training whom Killer encountered at the supermarket throws a wrench in their plans, and despite Lori’s unwillingness to participate, she does not object to Killer’s insistence that they get rid of him. It is revealed that earlier that day Devon prevented Killer from murdering Diana the supermarket cashier, and thus the woman he buried is not her.
After Devon is snuffed out, Killer and Lori torch the Oldsmobile and the body of her mother. Discussing their motives for killing as they leave the park, Lori ponders whether she killed her parents for revenge or because it’s her nature to kill. She suggests they team up and kill someone together, and Killer fantasizes about the possibilities. Together the two seem primed for a life of love and murder on the run, but Lori realizes it’s only a matter of time before Killer’s busy hands are poised over her own neck.
If Killer can somehow survive Lori’s attempt to kill him before he kills her, another trip to the supermarket might be in store. His milk bottles empty, there he can quench his thirst and take another stab at killing Diana.
