Synopsis/Details
On the day of Martin Prescott’s most important professional moment as a top Hollywood animation screenwriter, a very karmic accident happened in his Tarzana home. While being sent off to pitch a brilliant new film by his three precocious daughters and the family’s large Newfoundland dog he unceremoniously falls over a child’s skate to the bottom of the stairs. Marty is now in a coma in a hospital. The show picks up twelve years after the accident. His subconscious is alive with his anthropomorphic creatures. He is the focal point of a long-running reality series, ala “The Kardashians.” The show has made his family fabulously wealthy. They are now the 39th largest corporation in California. Marty’s animated subconscious with its family of characters plays counterpoint to the reality of his family and the production that’s made them wealthy. Should Marty awaken the good times are over.
