Stephanie is a disgraced wife and mother whose past choices have put her on a path that will end her young life. But when that dreadful moment comes, her call for Mercy is heard.

Winner, Grand Prize for Best Feature Script, Nevada International Film Festival, 2016

"The ballet dance scene is beautifully rendered. Michael showcases Stephanie's ability to overcome her past obstacles in a way that feels inherently cinematic. He speaks volumes about her character's emotional arc without needing to say a word." - WeScreenplay Writing Competition, Judge's Review

A once prodigious ballet dancer and happily married woman, Stephanie's decision to cheat on her husband cost her everything. Now, her dancing is done on a stage of a very different sort. With the help of her high school friend Brit, Stephanie acclimates to the seedier side of life as a stripper who is quickly losing hope.

And then the night comes when she is face to face with imminent death. Only one thing can save her now. Herself!

In this dramatic, dark Christian-themed script, we meet the Fallen Angel of Mercy. He is apart from God but still charged with his task which he carries out faithfully. However, the Angel disperses his duties in a manner that cannot be expected. His gift comes at a price. His need to save Humanity is no longer his want. His want for Humanity to learn to save itself is now his charge.

Mercy tells the tale of a Heavenly Hero who chooses not to battle the evils of mankind but who insists on forcing mankind to battle its own evils. These darker, less holy methods are threatening and violent but, in the end, this Old Testament approach sharpens and hastens the heart like never before.
