This pilot script was originally written in 2014 and has since been lightly revised for release. I would prefer to avoid a synopsis as I feel that the story slowly unspools in a way that is designed to be surprising. Additionally, the script may be controversial due to our desire to provide an accurate portrayal of racial tensions during that period of time.
