Synopsis/Details
1938 and the world is on the brink of another world war: Milena (a young Austrian Jew) assumes the identity of her murdered boyfriend, Acelin (a young German private) who tried to protect her family during the brutal exodus and deportation of Austrian Jews. Armed with Acelin’s standard-issue Luger - which has the power to choose who lives and who dies - Milena vows to do whatever she can to rescue her father taken during the exodus and bring judgement to those responsible for Acelin’s murder. The story follows George Landon: a weathered Lieutenant of the 43rd Wessex Division who, despite running from his past, is using his present to offer a hope for a brighter future for those he is fighting for; Acelin Baldermar, a freshly recruited private in the Nazi army, haunted by events in Austria but possessing an unwavering determination to seek retribution & Colonel Thayer: a self-effacing German Officer with greater desires than just winning the war. The Writer: MARTYN WELLS

Father of 3, Godfather of 3, Uncle of 2, Husband to 1. Grew up with an excellent diet/education in movies. Moderate success with two short films produced/aired on television; most recent short film gained international recognition at Le Cinematheque Festival and was considered the 'stand-out film' of the festival... although I don't think Mr Spielberg needs to concern himself too much.
