Synopsis/Details
Andrew Kinderman is a loner without any real friends, let alone any relationships with women. Instead he lives in a dream world centered around SciFi movies and superhero comics with a special obsession for the australian actress Anna Chastings, who is the star in his favourite paranormal investigation tv series 'The black projects'.
One day during his studies at the university, his professor is shot by two killers. When they realize Andrew witnessed the murder, they chase him up and shoot him as well. Andrew ends up in coma, but his mind separates from his body and materializes in Anna's villa in Brisbane.
She is the only person who can see him and initially believes he is a hallucination caused by too much work, but soon they both realize they are tied to each other. Anna agrees to support Andrew in his quest to find a way back to his body. As they begin their research, they catch the attention of some FBI agents which investigate the murder of Andrew's professor.
As it turns out, the leading FBI agent is only one of many minions, belonging to a worldwide terrorist conspiracy, which tries to utilize frontier sciences like mind control and astral projection for their evil agenda.
This is the pilot episode for a series centered around the unequal team of Anna and Andrew and their fight against the mysterious terrorist group which uses borderline technology frequently. Think 'Fringe' meets 'Big Bang Theory'
