Eternal goofball, Lyle Lorenson, has a horrible accident that leads to an out-of-body experience where he meets the obnoxiously arrogant Death. Death’s job is to guide Lyle to the afterlife. Letting him tie up loose ends and say goodbye to loved ones on the way. Only problem is Lyle has no loose ends to tie up...and no one to say goodbye to. Lyle realizes he’s never done anything worthwhile...never made any deeply meaningful relationships. He wasted his whole life goofing around. Lyle wishes he had more time-- Death to the rescue! ...Sort of… If Lyle can beat Death at a game, then Lyle can have a second chance at life! ...Except… Death has never been beaten.
