My Crow Petey

Petey the Crow brings gifts regularly to Heidi and she falls for Petey right away and raises him reluctantly with her parent's permission but soon even they bond with Petey. A few years now have pasted and hope to have independence or ski again is fading. One day Petey goes missing and Heidi is worried and emotionally a wreck. Days pass and no sign of Petey. Word gets out in the small town of Fish Creek that Petey missing and a search party seeks out to find Petey for Heidi she well-liked in the community. A Thunderstorm did some damage and usually when bad weather was coming Petey knew to fly in through the open window of Heidi's bedroom for safety but not this time.
