Synopsis/Details
At the Crescent City Inn, a historic mansion-turned-hotel in New Orleans, the Sinister Seven—a weird and mostly dysfunctional group of supernatural caretakers—are in way over their cursed heads. The hotel has never won a single award, let alone the prestigious “H.H.S.” (Haunted’est House Sweepstakes), but Bare, the arrogant werewolf night-manager, is convinced that this year is their year. Sadly, he’s mistaken. In fact, the hotel is a complete disaster, but Bare is too busy giving the documentary crew—who, FYI, are literally skeletons with cameras—a grand tour to notice. As he drags them through the property, we meet his quirky (and occasionally terrifying) staff: • Cookie: A purple-skinned witch who can’t cast a spell properly to save her life. • Pranx: An ice-cube-looking zombie clown with smeared make-up, green jheri curl and a balloon mop, whose main job is cleaning up the literal messes the hotel creates, mostly by accident. • Poe: A hip-hop loving poltergeist who’s more likely to bust a rhyme than give you directions to the elevator. • Selfia: A ghost trapped in a mirror who refuses to let anyone up the grand staircase without a reservation. • Big Baby: A terrifying eight-foot-tall Frankenstein-esque baby doll that goes nowhere without his over-sized stuffed bear. • The Twins: Two little girls who seem to appear from room to room out of thin air. Bare insists there's only one twin, even though they’re always seen holding hands and both have matching creepy giggles. Despite their best efforts to scare guests, the Sinister Seven’s incompetence knows no bounds. The documentary crew watches in a mix of horror and amusement, as Bare proudly believes they're on the brink of winning the HHS. Little does he know; the hotel is less “haunted” and more “hilariously cursed by the worst staff imaginable." Will Bare ever realize he's clueless? Will the “Seven” assemble and run a profiting hotel? Or is there something more sinister at play? Either way, it’ll be fun to see the chaos unfold.
