Synopsis/Details
No Hope Kids follows the turbulent and hilarious lives of a grungy group of Seattle teens as they navigate high school. Misfits, burnouts, troublemakers, and weirdos try to figure themselves out while dealing with romance, sexuality, parents, cops, drugs, and mental health. A coming-of-age story for all of its characters, the show primarily centers around Aaron Walker - a shy and awkward dork with a hidden bad-ass living inside. When Aaron transfers to Northwest High School after being bullied out of his last one, he is determined to make a new start and shed his old identity. Falling in with a carefree group of stoner kids, Aaron finally finds his place, but is a life of ditching class and causing havoc for his parents really who he truly is? No Hope Kids explores themes of identity and self-acceptance in a time when no one really knows who they are. The drama is real, but at its heart, the series is comedic, heartwarming, and built upon themes of love, friendship, and family.
