Synopsis/Details
Young Jasmine is snatched away from her mother at a Saint Louis bus station as an infant. Seventeen years of searching resulted in no leads until Jasmine steps from a densely wooded area on Route 66 cutting through Mid-Missouri. Jasmine collapses on the road, causing an unsuspecting family to crash. Deputies Bowman and Millhouse arrive to assess the scene and take Jasmine to the hospital. Jasmine is reunited with her parents, but carries the burden of a dark secret, a secret that will turn their world upside-down, raining hell on their already tortured lives.
Eight months come to pass, Jasmine has settling into her new life in the quiet suburb of Kirkwood Missouri. A small clique of girls led by Isabella constantly teases Jasmine about her abduction, but Jasmine does well to hide how it makes her feel.
One night at a party, Jasmine is drugged and displayed by Isabella and her cronies, leading Jasmine to the brink of death. Luna arrives, plucking Jasmine from the clutches of expiry, then teaches Isabella a lesson. The event fully unlocks the more sinister person buried deep within Jasmine, unleashing her on a killing spree.
Meanwhile, Bowman and Millhouse have learned the dark truth, Jasmine is actually Sarah Brown, the kidnapper’s twenty-two-year-old daughter that had been locked away in an asylum for the better part of her childhood. The race is on to find and stop her from killing again.
Luna discovers the truth then begins working with the officers to stop Jasmine before she has the chance to kill again. Luna confronts Jasmine, but Jasmine escapes leading Luna in a car chase down the winding road where they both crash. Both emerge from the wreckage in a final clash. Luna gains the upper hand right as the cars explode into a colossal fire-ball. Luna crawls up the embankment to safety, watching the fire devour everything.
