The script is free of zombies, infected, and most other modern post-apocalyptic tropes. It has been called a conceptually strong, taut and riveting post-apocalyptic drama-thriller, featuring a strong ensemble of fully dimensional, emotionally layered characters, nicely anchored by its charismatic, sharp-witted female protagonist Persephone.
