Synopsis/Details
he Slavs are a great mystery of history. Written sources mention them for the first time in the Sixth century Jordanes chronicles. Other nations already had long histories by this time. The Slavs however, come from nowhere and claim their position during a life span. The new power was impossible to ignore. The epic adventures of Dauritas and Ardagastus reconstruct the hidden pages of the Early Slavs history. These boys and their ancestors were not known as Slavs. They were members of unnamed tribes dwelling in woods and swamps in harmony with the spirits of the heavens, forests and streams. The pagan deities are observable from the Slavs POV only. Dauritas and Ardagastus pass through many trials and tribulations to become the leaders of the new nation. These heroes roam the length and breadth of Europe and liberate their kinsmen from slavery. They are impressed by the wealth and glory of Rome and are recruited by the Goths and the Huns to fight in historical battle of Nedao. The Slavs rise in the shadow of the Goths, the Hunnic wars and the decline of the Western Roman Empire. Sclaveni Wolves begin heroic colonization of Central and Eastern Europe. This is the saga of Dauritas and Ardagastus and how they become the first to name themselves as Slavs. In vein of Asterix and Obelix the Fifth Century Early Slavs heroes Dauritas and Ardagastus take part in many adventures and contact with pagan beings.
