Synopsis/Details
In the 25th Century the civilized world was destroyed - fast forward two thousand years into the future and Earth has rebuilt itself into a futuristic civilization based around the ideals of Ancient Rome. After a great victory on an alien planet, Romulus - the great Roman General finds himself questioning his very own beliefs which go completely against the wishes of his father, the war-hungry Caesar Augustus - who wears a gold plated mask (resembling a human face) covering the entirety of his face, with only his eyes visible through holes - an evil and memorable character who would make even Darth Vader tremble in his presence. “Rome 4100“ is the story of Romulus’ redemption which takes him on a journey involving alien planets, futuristic “warp gate” space travel and of course the drama that comes with Roman society - assassination attempts, sinful love, Colosseum battles and a senate debate that turns into an intense sword duel. The weapons of ancient Rome are even adapted to futuristic versions - the edge of swords turn molten hot, spears shoot out laser beams from their tips, shields are used to block incoming gun fire and Romulus wears a huge mechanized suit of armor into battle that resembles a Roman soldier. What makes “Rome 4100“ unique is it’s Sci-Fi setting which combines futuristic and ancient Roman influences creating a world that has never been seen before on the silver screen. “Rome 4100“ also raises the question of whether war and power will forever be connected to human evolution - a theme that any movie-goer can appreciate.

The Writer: Aaron Buck

The sole reason I sit down to write a screenplay is to create a story I've always wanted to see come to life on the big screen. My script “Rome 4100“ is just that. It's as if “Star Wars” and “Gladiator” got together, got married, and then had a bad-ass baby. If you enjoy my stuff, make sure to check out my children's books on amazon. PS whoever has taken the time to read all this - hope you have a great day! Go to bio
