Synopsis/Details
Chrissy Walker is reunited with her ex during a trip to New York with her roommate Jackson. She and Daryl had broken up because he broke up with her once he found a job opportunity in another state. She doesn’t let her family know about the news when she and Daryl fly to Colorado to spend the holidays with her family and hopefully win them over again. She plans on not telling them they are back together just yet... Chrissy’s parents Andrew and Tonya Walker are not particularly fond of Daryl because of how he ended things with Chrissy. They are surprised when she brings him along... claiming that they are just friends. Andrew isn't buying it though. Chrissy gets to spend some time with her mother and try to patch up their relationship that was broken because she left her hometown and her mother was hurt by it. Chaos erupts when Andrew finds out they have resumed their relationship, he kicks Daryl out and Chrissy leaves with him in the middle of dinner. They decide to spend the remainder of the holidays with Daryl’s parents. Meanwhile, Andrew and Tonya feel guilty about ruining Christmas for their daughter. They decide to go and apologize to her, surprising her on Christmas Eve as Daryl’s family is hosting a dinner. They have a talk with Chrissy, apologize to her and let her know they will not interfere with her relationship or judge her decisions anymore. They hug it out and join the party. Before dinner ends, Daryl gets up to give a speech... he proposes to Chrissy. Chrissy accepts, and both families are happy and excited for them. Daryl and Chrissy end the night dancing away.

The Writer: Annelise Gaparasi

Hello there! I am Annelise, a Rwandese girl who immigrated to the US at 15 and loved movies since I was little. I went to college and studied film production... realized my heart wasn't in it. I kept trying to figure out exactly where my place was in the film industry. Some years later, after I was fed up with seeing the same stories being told so I decided to write my own. I have been writing for two years now and have never looked back. I want to tell stories for those who are not as represented as the rest, bring different worlds to the screen and inspire every person who sees my stories. See you at the movies! Go to bio
