Synopsis/Details
Pilot - (1st rough copy attached) After being acquitted of the murder of a colleague, former military Pathfinder turned Scotland Yard undercover detective, Jamie Scotland, quits the Metropolitan Police and settles on the Isle of Skye. There he works freelance for a parachute club, Skyedive Scotland, specialising in tutoring Accelerated Free Fall student skydivers. Despite attempts to live a quiet life, Scotland's reputation precedes him and the maverick ex cops investigative skills are much in demand, frequently sought by clients worldwide looking for such a formidable trouble-shooter. When a uniformed London police officer attends the scene of a fatal car crash and finds within the wreck a winning lottery ticket — the key to a £13 million pound fortune — Scotland is employed to trace the suspect who has since resigned from the force and vanished into thin air.
