My imagination
An alien comes to earth to enslave earthlings. Her evil plan is thwarted by two teenagers with help from a professor.

High school students Ralph and Sally stand in a forest clearing searching the sky for an alien to interview for their school newspaper. They find one who shoots Sally with a stun ray and then informs Ralph that she has come to Earth looking for slaves to take back to her planet. The alien decides Ralph is too stupid to be a slave and shoots him with a stun ray too.

Upon recovering Ralph and Sally visit alien expert professor Framus seeking help. He gives them a ray gun jammer. Ralph and Sally find the alien shooting people with her ray gun. She tries to shoot Ralph who neutralizes the ray gun with the jammer. The alien turns and runs to her flying saucer. She tries to fly off, but Ralph holds up the jammer and the saucer explodes. Earth is saved.

Note on the special effects:
This was written to be done cheaply. The flying saucer can be some footage of a flying fresbee.
Toy rayguns can be purchased from Amazon.
You can find stock footage of an exploding flying saucer at Shutterstock. The scene of the exploding saucer from Devil Girl from Mars will work. You won't find anything that looks like a fresbee, but this is a comedy anyway, so you can get away with it.
