Snappy

An animated "take" on "The Larry Sanders Show". Snappy the Snapping turtle is a successful talk show host who seems to have it all, an amazing career and a beautiful family. However, things are not that simple. At work, Snappy must face the never-ending craziness of his celebrity guests, eccentric co-workers and the show’s production. His home life takes things to new extremes, since his wife and kids covet the spotlight as much as he does. Drawing inspiration from the comedy of “Curb your Enthusiasm”, the series’ plot lines will have Snappy find himself in awkward predicaments, as unrelated plot lines surprisingly intertwine to create a nutty climax, often clashing his professional life with his family life. “Snappy” takes place in a similar dimension to “Who framed Roger Rabbit”/"BoJack Horseman", a world occupied by cartoons and centered around the entertainment industry. "Snappy" creates a new "take" on this world, sharing the backstage, onstage and show business focused storylines of “The Larry Sanders Show”.
