Star Wars Genesis

Star Wars "Genesis" is a web series created by Ryan A. Herring and based on characters and events found in the Star Wars universe. However this is an entirely original creation of the author and all characters and events in Star Wars "Genesis" are original to this story and author. Star Wars "Genesis" follows the story of the Jedi far into the future from the times of Luke Skywalker and his friends depicted in the popular movies and related media. In this epic new story, the long distant past of the Jedi collides with the future, setting into motion events that could unbalance the universe and destroy the Order of the Jedi forever. A long time of peace and tranquility has followed the era of the New Republic, and the Jedi order has become more of a spiritual brotherhood than enforcers of law and order in the universe. Tython, the home of Jeh’dai, ancestors to the modern Jedi, has once again become a pilgrim world for force gifted beings of the universe to study the ways of the force, both the dark of Bogan and the light of Ashla to find balance of mind, body and soul. Almost no emphasis is given any longer to the honing of physical manipulations of the force and the arts of combat. Most time is dedicated to the pursuits of finding personal balance in the force,and social achievements. Long eras without violent conflict have left behind the old ways of the Jedi. One ancient master however, the last of his era and the oldest surviving Jedi,Kobi Yan Dontu, remembers the old ways and still secretly trains the few who wish the knowledge. He possesses a very powerful kiber crystal that when he’s close to every day prevents him from aging almost entirely. Master Yan Dontu is struck one day with a powerful vision, a great disruption in the force and a threat to the very peace and balance of the universe. He travels to the far corners of the universe to gather two of his best students, two who are strong with the force and in the ways of combat. He takes them to Tython to the great Tho Yor, and following the guidance of the force he sends them inside to travel to another dimension,to a far distant world to bring back two young people who Master Yan Dontu believes can save this universe. Rygar Thanos and Cero Landis enter the great Tho Yor and are transported to a strange forest on a strange world(earth). They summon their strength and call out with the force to those whom they were sent for. Meanwhile, a young boy in Washington state struggles with his growing feelings that he is different than everyone else in his small town. He is rebellious and emotional, but also hides the fact that he is brutally tormented by bullies. He buries his anger and secretly dreams and plots terrible revenge. Another youth, a girl in southern Colorado is being abused by her older brothers, and her alcoholic father seems to not notice or care. She feels alone and helpless,but her growing fears and pain seem to be swallowed up by a strange feeling that she is meant for another life, another world.
