Synopsis/Details
In New York City, in the 1990’s, Rene Travers is a struggling writer, trying to get her first book published. She’s sought out by Marcus Juno, a rich publisher who makes her an offer. He will give her a book deal in exchange for sex. Rene reluctantly accepts but doesn’t yet know that he’s a vampire. Marcus makes her an immortal and impregnates her. When Rene becomes aware of what’s really happening, she tries to kill him but is not successful. Marcus threatens that if she doesn’t accept her life with him, he will kill more of her friends, and in particular, Jack, her closest friend. But, after Jack becomes suspicious of Marcus and investigates him, Marcus kills him. Rene realizes that there’s no way out and gives herself up to Marcus. At least that’s what it seems, as Rene does kill Marcus and in the process, loses their unborn child. After Rene recovers, someone chases her back to her apartment. Could it be Marcus? Maybe he didn’t really die? No, it’s Jack, who was turned into a vampire by Marcus. Jack wants Rene to kill him also, but she can’t. Rene loves Jack, and he loves her. Jack then makes her an immortal and they will live together somewhere far away.

The Writer: Jane Tumminello

I'm a produced screenwriter based out of New Jersey. I've been writing for many years, optioned several scripts, and placed and/or won in a number of competitions. My favorite genres are horror, suspense-thrillers, and rom/coms. I've optioned my horror/supernatural short script "The Break Up" to Thomas Bauer, owner of Malteserkreuz Film right here on Script Revolution. This is my second success with SR. I've sold my rom/com feature "The Mix-Up" to Jyoti Kapur Das, Director/Producer of Good Karma Calling here on Script Revolution. The script will be made into a Hindi version and is currently in pre-production. In late 2023, I sold my second short horror script, "Bad Clown" to Christine… Go to bio
