Under strict rehabilitation terms set by her therapist, Karen returns to her secluded childhood home where she will live with her quirky parents, JILL and PETE REED. Plagued by the guilt of surviving her ordeal, Karen pours out her heart to her appointed therapist DR. BLACK and her childhood sweetheart, BEN. As Karen slowly settles back into the routine of the real world, strange things begin to happen. She becomes suspicious of Jill and Pete's determination to keep her wrapped in cotton-wool; She recoils at the sight of a ghastly gardening shed; the local townsfolk treat her with contempt; she becomes convinced her parents are hiding something in the basement... When Ben reveals to Karen the reason why her family have been ostracised from the community, she plans her escape only to find the house itself has other ideas. Fleeing from her parents, Karen finds refuge in the gardening shed where she unearths a collection of items that jog her memory. With Ben arriving at the house to help her, and inadvertently falling into a trap, it's up to Karen to return inside the house and confront her demons once and for all.

The Writer: Mickey Hatewood

I am an aspiring writer from London, United Kingdom. I have had a keen interest in writing/creating/daydreaming ideas for as long as I can remember. My main preference is horror, that is what I was raised on, but I like to think I could write in a variety of genres. Time will tell on that one! I wrote my first screenplay in early 2000 and have been hooked ever since. I have had two features optioned and was hired to write a spec script for a well-known genre title but, alas, that never worked out. Go to bio
