Synopsis/Details
Aldrin, a brilliant young tech at a secret government agency, is desperate to get into the field and encounter an alien. He invents a device that can track alien ships, but the brash, militaristic Director refuses to let him skip standard weapons training. Encouraged by the agency’s top field agent, Gabrielle, Aldrin goes off on his own, tracks down, and befriends an alien. He returns to the agency expecting a hero’s welcome - not only does no one believe in his encounter, but a surge in alien activity has the agency mobilizing for war. Aldrin encounters the alien again, obtains proof of their friendship, and still can’t penetrate the bureaucracy and halt the military machine. With the help of a few fellow misfits, Aldrin teams up with the alien to sabotage the agency’s aggressions and prevent an intergalactic conflict.

As the writer, director, producer, and animator of the film, Thomas won numerous awards at festivals around the country. Through DeCarlo Animation, Thomas is focused on creating sci-fi and fantasy stories that primarily appeal to adults, though many are appropriate for the whole family.
