Synopsis/Details
BACK STORY This fictional script is based upon the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 which took off on March 8, 2014 from Kuala Lumpur heading for Chinese capital Beijing. At 1.21am, the plane lost contact with the Kuala Lumpur Area Control Centre while over the South China Sea heading towards Beijing. Malaysian authorities believe the last words heard from the plane, from either the pilot or co-pilot, was "Good-night Malaysian three seven zero". Nobody survived and only a portion of an airliner’s wing was ever discovered. SYNOPSIS: Justin Bowers is a (30s) year old retired US Fighter pilot on business in the Far East city of Jakarta. Other than his business obligations, he has a Korean lady friend called Nara, who is more than a lady friend as they are lovers. His lady, Nara Gyeon (26) is one of the flight attendants on the “Air East Asian Rim” flight he has taken from Jakarta to Tokyo. Five hours into the flight, Nara shakes Justin and beckons him to follow her to the rear of the aircraft. She opens a coded door that reveals a narrow stairway up to crew sleeping quarters. They sneak up and rest on one of the bunks. As the lovers lie there dozing, they hear the Captain announces that due to bad weather he intends to climb above it and that if oxygen masks drop not to be alarmed but to use them. Justin and Nara apply their masks, Nara advises him that they are not on the airliner’s main oxygen supply, but extended oxygen tanks as are mandatory for the crew flying the plane. The plane’s Captain Jack Brady, (30s) AKA Amir Mokri, an Iranian American, deliberately kills the transponder, opens the EE compartment and pulls the three circuit breakers cutting the airliner off from ground control. He then takes the aircraft to over its 43,000 feet flight ceiling. Terrified passengers don their masks and when the passenger’s oxygen runs out after twelve minutes, Jack Brady/Amir Mokri has painlessly and systematically murdered the passengers with the exception of Justin and Nara who are on flight crew’s oxygen tanks. The plane lands in North Korea and is immediately ushered into a hanger. Trucks arrived and remove the bodies. Justin and Nara devise a way to escape using a female North Korean officer’s uniform. They hide in the hanger and witness the flight’s Captain Jack Brady, get his instructions from Moshen Kashani, an Iranian member of Al-Qaeda. The airliner is to be turned into a flying bomb. They establish where the passengers disappeared to and witness a mass grave. From knowledge heard in the hanger they know the event has nothing to do with North Korea’s Supreme leader Kim Jong-il. After several tense encounters, they escape to South Korea in a stolen light plane. Trying to explain themselves to authorities including South Korean, American Military and the CIA they are silenced and put in a hotel under watch, only to be seized by Mossad and removed from the country to Kuala Lumpur where it is known the repainted airliner is destined. Justin and Nara, now assisting Israeli intelligence finally meet face to face with the mass murderer Jack Brady/Amir Mokri and a plan is devised to trap the man, destroy the plane destined to be crashed in an Israeli city and seek retribution. Their final quest is the exposure of the horrible event and to find the mastermind Moshen Kashani.
