Synopsis/Details
It is postwar Munich, Germany. The new Sanitation Commissioner going to review the sanitation workers. Rumor has it the Sanitation Commissioner was a division commander during the war. The Commissioner's lack of a background in sanitation makes the workers suspicious of his capabilities. The Commissioner reviews the workers and is shocked at their physical condition. He openly expresses his misgivings to the Burgermeister in front of the workers. The workers immediately convince the Commissioner they can do the job.
