Effrem, Mallory, Zoe, and Cody all work for different gig apps. When Mr. Deakins, a wealthy customer of each of theirs, dies he leaves all of his possessions to them. While Zoe and Cody enjoy their new money and home, Effrem and Mallory are left to decipher the deeper meaning behind Mr. Deakins final wishes and must decide if they can actually find true friends among this new group.
