Synopsis/Details
Recent revolutions in America and France give the world hope.
Ireland, 1798 - Bred for a life of servitude and compliance, Catholic widow Reanna O’Neil’s life goes from a simple and quiet existence as a house servant to a state of persecution after she’s attacked by Lord Dalton, the British noble she recently began working for. She fights back, unintentionally kills him in self-defense and Is forced to flee for her life as the target of a sadistic British soldier who’s as ambitious as he is implacable in his quest to annihilate “The Irish slattern”.
When he slaughters her family in retribution for her crime of self-defense, she’s forced to flee on foot across the religious and politically divided country. Encountering seeds of rebellion along the way, she’s about to become an integral part in an uprising against inhuman foreign rule that will change the fate of Ireland forever.
