Synopsis/Details
Set in a fictional 17th-century polytheist kingdom, this dynamic and philosophical dark comedy navigates the thin line between visionary leadership and madness. We follow Tereza, a young queen who refused to learn reading and writing, and upon taking power imposes a series of radical and eccentric transformations on her kingdom, supposedly based on the will of the Gods. But as her vision comes to fruition, her greatest enemy emerges from her own family. Her husband, King Consort Leon secretly plots against her, manipulating their daughter, the heir Princess Leona, in an attempt to overthrow the Queen and restore what he believes to be order.
