Hospitalized in the past for paranoid schizophrenia, 28-year-old Michael relies on antipsychotic medication to stay grounded. Despite his struggles, he maintains a semblance of normal life in his small town, with his best friend Terrell, and his supportive therapist, Dr. Alvarez. One night, a concealed alien ship above his town emits frequencies that disrupt sleep and cause vivid hallucinations. Michael remains unaffected due to his medication, unaware of the threat and his immunity to the alien attack. As the town descends into madness, Michael clings to his routine to avoid triggering his mental health issues. When Terrell goes missing, Michael’s world is upended. He begins a desperate search, stepping deeper into the bizarre reality around him, and discovering the sudden appearance of strange men in grey suits. Following them and witnessing an alien abduction, he fears his mental state is deteriorating but cannot ignore the evidence. Determined to prove his sanity and find his friend, Michael secretly records the next abduction, confirming the extraterrestrial threat and his immunity. Realizing the gravity of the situation, he obtains a weapon to protect himself but faces a new problem: he’s running out of the pills keeping him sane. With the town’s fate on his shoulders and his last pill in hand, Michael's only choice is to confront the alien threat head-on.
