The Lines

We begin in Oscuro on April 14th, 2026 immediately following the town’s church being burned to the ground. The cult’s leader, DAVID JONES, has visions that prophesize a dark and deadly path to the group’s next opportunity for Unification seven days from now. With a deadline set, and oblivion as the only alternative, the town begins making sure that this time the Unification will be successful. David needs to sire an heir, which ELIZA LEILAND helps coordinate. ANNA BENOIT will be there to make sure the gestation process is done in a week instead of nine months. KURT MARCH and TINA SANGAR will ensure that the church is finished being rebuilt on time using outside labor. And ELENA COLGAR will help make sure that everyone is mentally prepared for the road ahead. As the town continues preparations, an increasing number of sabotages from unseen forces escalate. Causing the town’s Sheriff, TULLY ANDERSON, and deputy, KRUGER ASESINO, to investigate. However, The Lines isn’t a story of black and white, but rather one of grey. This deadline has fast tracked everyone’s personal agendas as well. Not all of them are savory. Eliza and Anna’s preparations, while in-line with the town’s beliefs, prove to be morally reprehensible. David’s visions seem to be losing potency as they’re seemingly half truths. Tully, desperate to survive, continues his fight to make sure Unification happens. As the depraved events unfold in front of him, Kruger begins to question the town’s sinister rituals. He seeks solace from Oscuro’s psychologist, Elena, who is running out of time to convince others that her views are right, and all of this is for nothing. Tina, wanting to die, resorts to nefarious strategies when the council denies her the right to take her own life. Meanwhile Kurt and his wife, REGINA, possess a secret that could derail everything.
