Synopsis/Details
The city burns. Riots never end, ignited by the mysterious death of a young boy at the hands of the police. Vic Sage, host of the show "Sage Wisdom", interviews the local chief of police and the leader of the local BLM chapter. A shocking interviewer in the vein of Bill O'Reilly, Sage appears to feast on the chaos and distrust reigning in the city. After the interview ends on a quick and brusk note, Sage investigates in his alternate persona, the faceless vigilante known as "The Question." During his investigations he uncovers a coverup that reaches all the way to the top of the police department. Based on The Question, created by Steve Ditko and owned by DC Comics, this script was inspired by the run by Denny O'Neil and Denys Cowan with a plot inspired by the, at the time, current riots happening across the USA. This script was written, but not selected, for the Bootleg Universe Short Script contest ran by Adi Shankar.
