Synopsis/Details
Retirement can certainly be a great time in one’s life. It can also be quite boring. A close-knit group of sixty-somethings share their retirement time the best way they know how. The men golf; the women shop – life could be worse. For most of them, though, their sex lives have slowed down dramatically. The will is still there, the ability . . . not so much. Space (not his God-given name) is a widower and the natural born leader of the pack. He refuses to let his age slow him down. He abuses Viagra and beds 20-year olds on a regular basis, much to the chagrin of the women in the group – and much to the delight of the men. He constantly tries to bring a spark to the dull lives of the Sexties. Sometimes the results are hilarious and sometimes they’re, well – anything but boring. All seem to be in agreement though, when Space decides they need a vacation. A trip to Hawaii to visit an old college friend is just the excuse Space needs to take the group on an exotic journey of self-discovery. It seems like the perfect place to bring back memories of love long forgotten. While in Hawaii, the group learns to re-discover who they were, who they are and who they’re going to become. Space’s college friend, Fuzzy, entertains with great abandon but he’s harboring a deep, dark secret unbeknownst even to Space. Space discovers that Fuzzy got involved in minor drug trafficking after college and witnessed a murder. He’s been in Hawaii for years as a guest of the federal government’s Witness Protection Program but his cover has unexpectedly been blown and all the Sexties are now in jeopardy. The dream holiday appears to take a deadly turn and forces the six to return home unexpectedly – five on the plane and one in a coffin. But is anyone really in the coffin?
